So I have a terrible confession. I have not drawn anything in about 5 years. In a community such as this that statement amounts to blasphemy, I know. But it is the truth. My husband is the artist of the family; talented, handsome, and accomplished artist that he is. And with my other endeavors (theatre and dance) it always seemed that there was too little time to fiddle with pen and paper. Plus I was never totally happy with my work. (what artist doesn't feel like that, though) So I took down all my previous artwork and started posting my new, more crafty pieces. Thinking, "hey, that's just the kind of artist I am now." Thank goodness Nutcracker season is over. This year was especially stressful and almost a total disaster, but on a good note I did produce some very nice costumes and decorative pointe shoes. Pics to come.
